Privacy Policy

This service has no accounts and collects nothing that could identify a person. If it were ever breached, there would be nothing to take. No names, no contacts, no files on our side.

  • Files and notes travel only between the two devices and are never sent to our server or stored. All our server receives is the connection signal (one line with an address and a key so the devices can find each other), kept only in memory and deleted after 10 minutes. With the direct connection it receives not even that.
  • The browser's session storage keeps which steps you reached, so the same signal is not counted twice in one visit. It disappears when the tab closes and holds no file names or codes.
  • The server counts anonymous steps only: the date, step names such as opened the page, pressed prepare, connected, handed everything over, clicked a sister tool, made a first input, the screen language, and a coarse source label for where the visit came from. What was handed over is never included.
  • So that the two devices can find each other, the browser asks Google's public STUN server for its own address. That server sees the device's IP address, but no file goes there. The browser makes that call, not us, and Google's policies apply.
  • To cover running costs we may show Google AdSense ads below the content. Google may then use cookies or advertising identifiers under its own policies. Files still never reach our server.

Retention and deletion

No personal records remain on the server, so there is nothing to delete. Connection signals delete themselves after 10 minutes, and clearing browser data removes the step markers in session storage.

This site is served through Cloudflare, which automatically inserts a script into our pages that would record visits. It is not ours, so we have configured the browser to refuse it. Those records therefore never leave your device. The tag itself is still inserted by the edge, and we note it here so you know what is going on. No cookies are used.

이 서비스는 계정이 없고, 개인을 특정할 수 있는 정보를 수집하지 않습니다. 그래서 이 서비스가 털려도 가져갈 것이 없습니다. 이름도 연락처도 파일도 우리 쪽에 없습니다.

  • 건네는 파일과 글은 두 기기 사이에서만 오가고 서버로 전송되지 않습니다. 저장도 하지 않습니다. 우리 서버가 받는 것은 연결 신호(상대를 찾기 위한 주소와 열쇠 한 줄) 뿐이고, 그것도 메모리에만 두었다가 10분 뒤 지웁니다. 서버 없이 직접 연결을 고르면 그것마저 받지 않습니다.
  • 브라우저의 세션 저장소에 어느 단계까지 눌렀는지만 적어 같은 방문에서 같은 신호를 두 번 세지 않게 합니다. 탭을 닫으면 사라지고, 파일 이름이나 코드는 들어 있지 않습니다.
  • 서버는 익명 계측만 셉니다. 집계한 날짜, 화면을 열었는지 연결 준비를 눌렀는지 연결됐는지 다 건넸는지 형제 도구 링크를 눌렀는지 첫 입력이 있었는지 같은 단계 이름, 화면 언어, 어디서 들어왔는지 대략을 나타내는 유입 라벨만 남기고, 무엇을 건넸는지는 싣지 않습니다.
  • 두 기기가 서로를 찾도록 브라우저가 구글의 공개 STUN 서버에 자기 주소를 묻습니다. 그쪽에는 기기의 IP 주소가 닿지만 파일은 가지 않습니다. 이 호출은 우리가 아니라 브라우저가 하고, 구글의 정책을 따릅니다.
  • 운영비를 대려고 구글 애드센스 광고를 화면 아래에 실을 수 있습니다. 이 경우 구글이 광고를 위해 쿠키나 광고 식별자를 쓸 수 있고, 이는 구글의 정책을 따릅니다. 건네는 파일은 여전히 서버로 가지 않습니다.

보관과 삭제

서버에 남는 개인 기록이 없으므로 지울 것도 없습니다. 연결 신호는 10분 뒤 저절로 지워지고, 브라우저 데이터를 지우면 세션 저장소의 단계 표시도 함께 사라집니다.

다만 이 사이트는 클라우드플레어를 거쳐 열리는데, 클라우드플레어가 방문 기록을 남기는 스크립트를 우리 페이지에 자동으로 끼워 넣습니다. 우리가 넣은 것이 아니라서 브라우저가 그것을 거부하도록 막아 뒀습니다. 그래서 그 기록은 나가지 않습니다. 다만 태그 자체는 앞단이 계속 넣고 있어서, 무슨 일이 있는지 알고 계시는 편이 낫다고 보아 적어 둡니다. 쿠키는 쓰지 않습니다.
