Files travel only between the two devices. All our server receives is the connection signal (an address and a key, under 8KB), and it deletes that after 10 minutes.

What this tool does not do

It does not store files anywhere. They go straight from the sending device to the receiving one, and when you close the page nothing remains, so there is no way to fetch them again later.

It is not for sending to someone far away. It works well when both devices share a Wi-Fi network or a hotspot, and a company firewall or a mobile carrier network in between can stop the connection. When that happens, it says so.

There are no accounts and no contacts. The only way to find the other device is a six-letter code or a QR code, and the code disappears after 10 minutes.
